No.1 Working with current brand assets, including strategic messaging and brand fonts, these designs were created for postering downtown Toronto during their Fall campaign. Utilizing the brand’s elevation line from their logo, I designed a unique dimensional pattern that is bold and captivating. Positioned popping outside a surrounding square, the shape references out-of-the-box creativity.
No.2 Bursary Cards promoting membership and unique involvement. Using newspaper layouts as a main source of inspiration along with a contrasting vertical type treatment, cards are designed to look and feel editorial.

No.1 Tarot Card designs to accompany their Tarot Collection - launching Fall 2018. Select suits include: Sun, Moon, Star and Lion.
Sun: Happiness, clairty, simplicity. A warm colour palette shares feelings of joy and freedom. Abstract shapes are used to sybmolize the stages of the sun. Gentle watercolour textures suggests an open mind and clarity, with clean lines added to illustrate movement and liberation.
Moon: Darkness, mystery and intuition. Ominious, abstract shapes are used to symboilize the moon. Watercolour textures are used to replicate the ‘waters of imagination.’ Its colour scheme draws from natural shades, aligning with cycles of nature.
Star: Lightness, openess and calm. Pink watercolour textures are used to share a story of healing, regeneration and ease. Feelings of clarity are created by playing with the background’s opacity. Textured yellow circles represent the brightness of the star attached by fine lines to suggest a constellation.
Lion: Strengh, feminine power and confidence. Bold abstract shapes are used to illustrate strength and are stacked to suggest flow and continuation. The empty spaces between them represent feelings of openess. The design of these shapes are meant to look feminine and gentle using rounded edges. Fine lines are also used to represent new perspectives, while keeping a cohesive look with the rest of the collection.
No.2 Postcard illustrations to accompany packaging. The two cards each focussed on a different element of their jewellery, being Fine or Bold. The designs were created to be abstract interpretations of each, using gentle colouring and subtle lines to create Fine and strong shapes to define Bold.

Nulla is a zero gravity phone case. Driven by design and innovation, Nulla engineered a phone case that allows you to use your phone without having to hold it. The result is a zero gravity case with bonding properties that allow it to stick to all glass and lacquered surfaces.
Building the brand from scratch, I developed Nulla's identity, language and overall aesthetic. I drew on the case’s functionality as my main source of concept and inspiration, exploring its unique technology. The name ‘Nulla,’ Latin for zero, is used to echo the concept of zero gravity. A custom typeface was created for the logo, containing a crossed-through U inspired by a slashed-through zero. Drawing on the case’s disruption against the natural forces of gravity, geometric abstract shapes emulate a galactic look and feel. With a colourful and contemporary design, Nulla's identity is youthful and bold, reflecting the brand’s purpose and experience.

Inspired by classic, casual silhouettes, Native Shoes is a Vancouver-based footwear brand.
A series of short social media vignettes were created to demonstrate the features and benefits of their Mercury Liteknit sneaker and showcase their narrative technology. Videos were developed with a goal to establish brand awareness beyond sneakerheads, preexisting consumer base, and reach a more fashion-focused demographic.
Concept: In a world with growing global connectedness, location no longer dictates relationships. Interlaced by the Internet, your best pal might live miles away. Get tangled up in phone cords talking to your sister across the ocean. Weave intricate e-trails with your mate down under. A close knit community, no matter the distance, helps keep things lite in the world.

Concept: Echos of patterns underscore the connectivity of daily life. A motif found in the produce aisle finds new meaning on the clothing rack. Traces of shape. Imitations of colour. It’s a network of sameness. Things that look like other things spark the association game. Soon we’re reminded that we are all as similar as we are different.

In the Fall of 2016, Taylor founded Best Practice, a project dedicated to sharing creative women’s stories, celebrating mentorship, entrepreneurship, growth and creativity. The project — part zine, part podcast — features guests from Toronto, New York and LA — sharing stories from photographers, videographers, illustrators, and designers.
Building the brand from scratch, I developed Best Practice’s identity, language and overall aesthetic. Infusing contemporary compositions with those from retro, nostalgic periods, the brand’s old school feel takes typography cues from academia patches and hand written illustrations. A youthful look and feel is created using approachable vibrant colours - speaking to the project’s themes of inclusivity, accessibility, and expression.
